First obedience to Christ

1. The bible says Believe: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
2. You must believe that without a doubt Jesus Christ is the son of the living God and that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. It’s not just enough for your parents to believe it, or for you to just say you believe it, but you must really believe it. You must believe it so much that if someone were to put you in jail if you said you believe it, that you would be willing to be put in jail.
3. Confess: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9
4. The Bible says that we have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Yes, this means even you!! You must admit to God that you are a sinner and confess to him your sins.
5. Repent : “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” Acts 3:19
6. When you repent, you turn away from your sins (1 Thessalonians 1:9). This doesn’t mean you say, I’m sorry and do it again. This means you say you are sorry, you mean it, and you stop doing what you were doing. No one is perfect, God knows that, but if you are sinning and you know it, stop!!
